How much is tuition for ITT Tech?

I don’t know. I just tried calling and was told I would have to schedule a tour. This does not sound right to me. Every college or university has this info readily available on their website. Sounds fishy to me.

I actually go to school there. It’s $468 per credit hour. Which includes all books, lab materials, all of my software for tool kits and everything. The only thing out of my pocket is paper and pen. I did the price comparison for the local 4 year college and the community college and it for the 4 year (UT-Chattanooga) it was 72000 including books, materials, fees, and everything they DIDN’T tell you on the website.

For the community college (Chattanooga State) the associate degree is 52000 with all the books, materials, fees and everything they DIDN’T tell you on their website. My education with ITT Tech is going to be around 46,000 total. I’ve only been here one quarter and I got a entry level networking job making 16.00 an hour. That beat my other job of a fry cook for burger king.

Most people who go to ITT Tech saw it on TV and are poor. They can’t qualify for any private loans, so ITT Tech gets the Stafford Loan. ITT Tech sells the fake loan to NCO Financial – who in turn reports it to the Dept. of Education. This fake loan will usually go into default because it’s so big. And they pile interest on it. Then NCO tells the student they can get a government backed consolidation loan – NCO sells the fake loan to the Federal government – The Feds write them a check, and the student gets stuck with a fake loan enforced by the Federal government.

In other words, ITT Tech is fleecing the Federal government with fake loans and high interest. Anybody still feel like going to ITT Tech? If this happened to you, you need to report it to the FBI and the IRS Financial Crimes Unit

12/31/09 Same happened to me. I called the local ITT Tech to inquire about the cost and was told I had to take the tour which I did. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very nice woman who took me on the tour and we ended up back at her office. She asked me if I had any questions and I did. She answered ALL my questions until the final one, “How much will it cost me to attend ITT Tech?”. She switched into robotic mode and started dodging and weaving thru the company lines like “Dave, can you put a price on your happiness?” and “How could anyone put a price on their future??”.

This went on for 30 minutes all the while she was trying to get me to sign up. I finally got very fed up and told her that I think the only reason why she wouldnt (or wasnt allowed to) tell me the tuition cost is because its probably so outrageous that most middle class people could never afford to go there.
