Unemployment Extension March 2010, Jim Bunning Blocked the Vote

On Tuesday, March 2, 2010 Senator Jim Bunning was blocking the vote for the Unemployment Extension bill.

jimbunningThe Unemployment Extension bill is a bill that passes in the US Senate unanimously on Nov 4, 2009 and was signed by Obama on Nov 6, 2009. The Extend ended Unemployment benefits for up to 14 weeks and the Congress agree that the extension should passed until Feb 26, 2010 when the congress meet on Dec 19, 2009.

Until the end of February, it‘s mean Feb 28, 2010. The extension is come to expired, but both the White House and Senate are working on bills to extend the time once again. When the congress takes the Vote, Senator Jim Bunning comes to blocked again the vote for the Bill. Jim Bunning and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said that they are working to end the impasses and want to restore the benefits.

Cause of that, The Unemployment Insurance agencies will be affected by the uncertainty situation whether or not an extension will be passed.
