One of U.S. Reports for Educational rankings shoots our attention to the new Best U.S. Colleges in 2010. It was unknown and came from a small private Massachusetts College called “Williams College“. Yaps, Williams College even beat the Ivy League contenders such as Harvard and Yale. And in Forbes.com Colleges rank, Williams College nudged past Princeton University and Amherst.

It’s always gratifying to be considered among the top institutions in the county,” said William Wagner, the dean of faculty at Williams College.

Forbes and CCAP conduct assessments based on consideration of tuition costs, the salaries of graduates and student experience. In addition, they also pay attention to some important aspects such as how many faculty are opened, how many students who successfully won Rhodes Scholarships or Nobel Prizes. And one more thing by way of using data from websites such as RateMyProfessors.com and MyPlan.com to measure the level of student satisfaction.

The Forbes / CCAP report only saw nine percent from an accredited institution in the U.S. 6600

A complete list of universities can be found at www.forbes.com/colleges.
